When I found out about Lake Point it was a godsend. He was able to get all of his skilled care needs met while still maintaining his dignity in a residential environment. Their last words were to me were to tell me he would not be admitted to the hospital. He did get admitted and I will NEVER return to Lakepoint EVER! The neglect was horrible and their insistence that "it's only a little infection" was terrifying to me.

This is truely a one of a kind property - not just form a physical perspective but also from a care perspective. My mom was able to live in a residential environment with all of the attention and care that her high needs required. Due to a surgical complicaiton she had to have a tracheotomy and the staff at Lake point were able to care wonderfully for her throughout her time there. I would strongly recommend this proeprty to anybody. Assisted Living is for older adults who want to continue to enjoy an independent lifestyle while needing some helpful assistance.
They also don't replace any clothes that the employees take . I love being a family physician, and love being a family physician educator. I am fascinated with the science of continuity and comprehensiveness of care for individuals and the process of medical education.
